An unforgettable seal hunt in the rugged and beautiful seascape of the Gulf of Finland

Our seal hunt begins in Käsnäs, Kemiö, where our skilled skipper awaits us. If customers wish, we can also pick them up from the airport. The hunt takes place throughout the Gulf of Finland, where we search for seals. Once we find them, customers are given permission to move to the island or islet where the shooting always takes place. It is important to remember that the shooting distance can be up to 300 meters.

When traveling at sea, you need a skilled captain and proper equipment. Our guides have decades of experience in sea travel and seal hunting, and our boats meet modern standards. We have not compromised on safety. We take a maximum of three customers on board. If there are more customers, we can arrange another boat for an additional fee, accommodating one to three more people.

Daily schedule:
Depending on the weather, we start in the morning and visit typical islets where seals are usually found. At noon, we have a simple lunch on the boat or on an islet. We spend about 6–8 hours at sea, depending on how challenging it is to find seals. Due to the high seal population in the area, each customer will often get to see at least one seal.

Weather conditions at sea can change quickly, so it may not always be possible to go out on the desired date. To be on the safe side, customers should book at least three days to ensure that they can go out to sea on at least one of those days.

The seal hunt in the Gulf of Finland was one of the greatest hunting experiences of my life. The sea conditions, boats, and overall safety arrangements were handled to the highest standard. I took away much more from the day than just the harvest.
